Blind Date

The legendary dating game show Blind Date was given the kiss of life by two match-making friends from Kingsbridge who organised their own live version of the popular television programme made famous by Cilla Black last month!    

Kate Treleaven and Julia Sweeney said they initially suggested the idea of a Blind Date event as a light-hearted way to solve a single friend’s dating drought.

The inimitable Cilla Black was replaced for the evening by our friend Dave Cornthwaite, a record-breaking adventurer, comedian and author of DATE.

We have alora lora love for these ladies for raising over £500 for us!
